Septoria Fungi

IMG_6897.PNG

Septoria will first appear at the lower skirt of the plants, where you will see yellowing of the leaves accompanied by brown spots.  These spots normally have a lighter in color center and a darker border.  If this goes untreated it will destroy leaf tissue and spread rapidly!  Green Luster Phenos™ recommends a 100% natural biofungicide that goes out once a week as a preventative and twice a week as a treatment.  We have an incredible plasticity breeding program that we implement here at Green Luster Phenos™.  Through this program we are practicing targeted releases of Septoria Fungi in our breeding chambers.  Over the course of multiple generations we hunt out genotypes that show the most resistance towards this specific bacteria pressure.  After about 30 months of this perpetual inbreeding we start to see this natural adaptation towards this bacteria throughout our final offspring!  This can't always  be our target, but if you would like to grow a couple Septoria Resistant genetics ; be sure to check out our {Hazy Grapes} & {Push OG} !
